as far as「～範囲では、～限りでは」
as long as「～する条件で、～する間は、～する限り」
両方とも「～限りは」と訳せるのが意味は全然違う。
もともとの意味は、
farは距離（How far …?「どれくらい遠い？」）
longは時間（How long …?「どのくらいの時間」）
以下の例文を読んで、意味をしっかり理解せよ。
You can join the party as long as you bring a dish to share.
君がシェアする料理を持ってきてくれれば、パーティに参加しても構いません。
You can use my computer as long as you promise not to download any suspicious files.
怪しいファイルをダウンロードしないと約束してくれれば、私のコンピュータを使っても構いません。
You’re welcome to stay as long as you tidy up after yourself.
自分の後片付けをすることを約束してくれれば、滞在しても構いません。
